Advanced Studies Programme

This programme provides a rare and stimulating opportunity to improve your English language skills and study up to three academic subjects alongside our native English speaking undergraduates.

During the programme you can also take English language examinations, for example:

  • Cambridge Advanced (CAE)
  • Cambridge Proficiency (CPE)
  • IELTS
  • TOEFL

There are 10 hours of English language classes each week in addition to three academic subjects.

In order to enrol on this course you need to:

  • be at least 18 years of age
  • be qualified for university in your own country or have already graduated
  • have a good knowledge of English at or above the level of Cambridge First Certificate (FCE), IELTS 5.5, TOEFL 197 computer score or 530 paper score

This course is offered twice a year:

Spring/Summer Semester 2004: Sunday 4 January - Saturday 19 June 2004
Autumn Semester 2004: Saturday 4 September - Saturday 18 December 2004
