             St. 
              Clare's has a full-time Careers and Higher Education Adviser, available 
              to all students for advice and assistance on entry to British universities 
              and other higher education institutions. There is an extensive library 
              of prospectuses and information about higher education opportunities 
              in the UK at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Individual appointments 
              may be made with the Adviser to discuss future study plans. 
            The Careers 
              and Higher Education Adviser also assists students in making applications 
              to universities in other countries, except the USA. The US Universities 
              Counsellor assists students wishing to apply to universities in 
              the USA. 
            The College 
              has special programmes to assist students to prepare for IELTS (an 
              English language test required by some universities for non-native 
              speakers) and SATs (for US university entry). 
            
              -  Each year 
                around 100 students from St. Clare's enter universities in the 
                UK, USA and elsewhere.
 
              - About 40 
                enter British universities, mainly those considered "premier" 
                or "highly selective". These include Oxford; Cambridge; 
                Imperial College, London; London School of Economics (LSE); Warwick.
 
              - 10-15 students 
                enter universities in the USA. 
 
              - Other students 
                enter universities in a variety of countries, such as the Netherlands, 
                Switzerland, Australia, New Zealand, Russia, and Kazakhstan.
