1953-2003 - 50 Years of Promoting International Education & Understanding

The International Baccalaureate Institute

The IB Institute was set up in order to enable St. Clare's to offer its expertise in the IB Diploma programme to students and staff from other establishments.

As England's longest established provider of the IB Diploma, St. Clare's has a wealth of experience which enables it to deliver a high quality support service.

Now in its third year of operation, the Institute provides short courses for students and teachers from all over the world. Courses run during the Summer and Easter vacations and are fully residential.

The services currently provided by the Institute fall into one of three broad categories:

  • Introductory courses for students about to start the Diploma programme
  • Review, revision and research courses for students who have completed the first year of the Diploma programme
  • Training courses and IBO-approved workshops for teachers involved in the Diploma programme

Details of the full range of courses for 2004 will be available here soon. If you have any questions before that date please do contact David Fowkes, IB Institute Director. He will be happy to help you with details about the courses, dates and availability.
