1953-2003 - 50 Years of Promoting International Education & Understanding

Diploma Review - 3 - 16 April - Course Details

For students taking the IB Diploma Examinations in May or November 2004

This is an intensive review course designed to cover work that most students should have completed in their first and second years of the IB Diploma course.

Many students find it helpful to review work with a different teacher, and experience a new approach to a topic.

Students will normally elect a different subject on each of the three courses.

Whilst we cannot hope to review everything, teachers will cover the major topics of the subject syllabus and concentrate on those topics that appear frequently in exam papers.

As the group sizes are small, students are able to address with the teacher involved, any weakness in their knowledge and understanding.

All courses include:

  • A review of work covered but not fully understood
  • Topics which frequently appear in examinations
  • Topics which students typically tend to find difficult
  • Practice on questions from past examination papers
  • Opportunities to address individual difficulties

In the residential college setting, students are asked to work hard and invariably find that this intense preparation enables them to tackle, with increased confidence, the final Diploma examinations. Small class sizes enable individual attention to problem areas.
