            Accommodation

              - St. Clare's
welcomes day students living at home, although most are residential
                in College houses.

              - There are
fifteen College houses for pre-university students. Formerly family
houses, they accommodate between 7 and 25 students, mostly 15-20.

              - Each house
                has its own welcoming atmosphere.

              - All houses
are very close to the central campus.

              - Separate
houses for male and female students and for any students aged
                18+

              - Each house
has a resident warden responsible for the welfare and care of
students, and for maintaining house rules.

              - Most rooms
are twin rooms with some singles.

              - Meals (breakfast,
lunch and dinner) are provided in the dining room or the Sugar
                House café.

            Welfare

              - Welfare is
a prime concern of all staff.

              - Students
have an individual mid-course tutorial with their group teacher.

              - Welfare team
includes Director of Short Courses, Duty Manager, College Nurse,
Student Services Officer and House Wardens.

              - Favourable
staff : student ratio. In addition to teaching staff we have a
team of 6 - 10 activities staff in the summer.
