The Activities and
Art Departments showcased the Life @ St. Clare's Exhibition. Works of
art from CAS classes Studio Art, Photography and STEP (St. Clare's Tanzanian
Education Project) displayed a colourful array of chairs, photos, sketches
and paintings to accompany the cheese and wine provided for the evening.
The evening also launched
the first edition of The Clarion, the first student run magazine to come
out of St. Clare's. The very first edition was auctioned to the fairly
large crowd and fetched a decent price. Maureen Guy is now the proud owner
of the first edition of The Clarion. We are eagerly anticipating the next
edition of the magazine from the hard working team of St. Clare's students.
A special thank you
to all of the students who contributed to the exhibition and to John Rolfe,
Kate Glanville and Andy Whiting for their expert advice and guidance throughout
the term.
