St. Clare's, Oxford is an independent, international college with the mission of promoting international education and understanding. St. Clare's was founded in 1953 bringing together students from Britain and other countries after the Second World War.

St. Clare's is a registered charity and provides courses for up to 400 students throughout the year, except over Christmas, in three areas:

  • Pre-university level
    (Students aged 16-20) Academic year and vacation courses.

    IBSCA (IB Schools and Colleges Association of the UK and Ireland)

  • University level
    The Liberal Arts Programme (for university students from US universities and elsewhere) and the English & Academic Subjects Programme (for university level students with advanced English).
  • English language
    A wide variety of courses throughout the year for adults (18+) and young adults (16-19), and a summer programme for young adults (16+) and children (aged 10-16).

In addition, our Educational Services division offers teacher training for English language and subject teachers, testing, and consultancy:
