studies are qualified in teaching English as a foreign language, or experienced
in teaching non-native speakers.

Students requiring extra English language support
may have an additional 4 hours per week.
Subject studies concentrate on English language
and general academic skills.
Students are expected to take part in the College's
activities programme. This helps to develop English language outside
the classroom.
Students may transfer to the International Baccalaureate
Preparatory Course (Pre-IB) if their English language improves. On this
course, students take additional subject studies in English, and have
fewer class hours in English language.
