St. Clare's students completed their work with Oxford Conservation Volunteers (OCV) this weekend. They were scrub bashing and rebuilding footpaths at the Tackley Nature Reserve. This was the final activity of this academic year and was completed with their usual enthusiasm and vigour. The students have worked on a variety of tasks over the year in venues such as Aston Rowant, Shotover and Tackley in Oxfordshire. John from OCV expressed his gratitude by saying we were "owed a profound vote of thanks" for our contribution this year. Ona personal note I would like to thank all the volunteers from St. Clare's for rebuilding our reputation with this group and forging strong links with the community.
