St. Clare's Home

On Saturday 1 May the Fairtrade Fashion Show took place in the Oxford Town Hall displaying the new range of Fairtrade clothing.

A group of students from St. Clare's performed a variety of dances alongside the catwalk modelling. Lead and choreographed by Vicky Hahn, the group performed a salsa, a merengue and a Latin hip hop routine. The students dancing were: Fang Xie, Ekaterina Paramonova, Belina Manana, Anna Fedorenko, Omonye Osayande, Ameena Rasheed and Valeria Konytchev.

Mary Ashton (organiser of the Fairtrade Fashion Show), commented on the enthusiasm and colour brought to the show by the dancers.
