All applicants should read the following information: Liberal Arts and Advanced Studies Programme The Liberal Arts Programme provides university level courses for visiting students from American, European and other universities. The Advanced Studies Programme allows non-native English speakers to combine Liberal Arts courses with English language instruction. An overview can be accessed here. Part-Time Lecturer in Communication Studies The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching existing courses in Rhetoric and European Media Analysis. You will also be given the opportunity to take an active part in the development of a course on cross-cultural communications to be introduced in 2005. Applicants will have completed, or be near to completion of, a PhD and have experience of teaching in the higher education sector. Part-Time Lecturer in Business Studies The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching existing business courses as well as developing a new course in international business to be introduced in 2005. This is associated with the College's commitment to expanding teaching in this area, particularly to Business majors from US universities. Ability to teach in the area of economics would be an added advantage. Applicants will have completed, or be near to completion of, a PhD in a relevant subject and have experience teaching in the higher education sector.
