On Wednesday 23 February, 32 students went to watch the champions league
match between Manchester United and AC Milan. The trip was organised by
English language teacher and football fan, Mark Jennings, and involved
a pre-match tour of the Trafford Centre. Our students then caught the
shuttle bus over to the ground to get their seats in the AC Milan end.
The game was played in an excellent spirit with both sets of fans exchanging
good humoured banter. The football on the pitch was described as "superb"
by one observer. The game ended 2-1 to AC Milan much to the delight of
the majority of our students ..... sorry Mark!
