Fourteen students and their leaders set out for a weekend of climbing in the Gower Peninsula in west Wales. This was a first climbing experience for many of the students and they all rose to the challenge extremely well. We did a sea cliff climb as well as a quarry climb, the latter in drenching rain. As a result of the enthusiasm and fun experienced in Wales we now have a group of students doing rock climbing on an indoor wall at Oxford Brookes each Wednesday evening.
