The Liberal Arts Programme is pleased to welcome Eric Lavin who showed great enterprise in response to the devastation caused by Hurricane Katrina. Eric was set to begin his undergraduate studies at Tulane University in New Orleans, but was forced, like many others, to evacuate the area.

Eric decided to make use of this unexpected interruption to his studies by joining the Liberal Arts Programme for a semester.

More recently, St. Clare's was contacted by the British Council USA and as a result we are now included on the list of institutions (see www.campusrelief.org) willing to accept displaced students.
