       Accommodation

        - St. Clare's welcomes day students living at home,
although most are residential in College houses.

        - There are fifteen College houses for pre-university
students. Formerly family houses, they accommodate between 7 and 25
          students, mostly 15-20.

        - Each house has its own welcoming atmosphere.

        - All houses are very close to the central campus.

        - Separate houses for male and female students.

        - Each house has a resident warden responsible for
the welfare and care of students, and for maintaining house rules.

        - Weekly and fully residential arrangements are available.

        - House rules differ slightly for students, by age.

        - Two houses (the Woodstock houses) are designated
for younger students (15-16 years old). The wardens arrange a special
programme of house activities and provide a greater degree of supervision.

        - Most rooms are twin rooms with some singles, usually
for second year IB Diploma students.

        - Meals are provided in the dining room or the Sugar
          House café.

        - Accommodation available during half term breaks,
          by arrangement.

      Welfare

        - Welfare is a prime concern of all staff.

        - Each student has a Personal Tutor who has particular
responsibility for oversight of welfare and progress.

        - Students have an individual weekly meeting with
          Personal Tutors.

        - Programme of personal, social, and health education.

        - Welfare team includes Assistant Principal, Dean
of Students, Wardens, and Student Services Officer.

          are involved in student welfare.

        - Parents' meetings scheduled, and by arrangement.
E-mail has proved very useful for regular communication.
