Running Club participates in the Oxford Mail OX5 Fun Run
All the hard work during the winter months paid off on Sunday 25 March for the St. Clare's Running Club. The club team took part in the Oxford Mail 8km run at Blenheim Palace, Woodstock in aid of the Oxford Children's Hospital.
The Oxford Children's Hospital Campaign was launched in September 2002, with the target of raising £15 million from fundraising to build a new Children's Hospital based in Oxford, which will be a centre of excellence dedicated to the care of children.
The group departed St.Clare's, Oxford by minibus with a chilly March feel about the weather. After registration, the runners did their warm up and made their way to the start line. Jason Donovan (Australian Soap Opera star and singer) started the race at 1030.
Total number of runners: 664
