St. Clare's is Accredited by the British Council for the teaching of English.
Every four years inspectors spend several days assessing standards at the school in four categories: management, resources and premises, teaching and welfare.

The British Council inspected and accredited St. Clare's, Oxford in October 2005.
This private language school offers courses in general and academic English for young adults and adults and vacation courses for juniors and young adults.
Points of excellence were noted in the care of juniors, premises, self-access facilities, teachers' qualifications, teaching, pastoral care and the leisure programme.
The inspection report stated that the organisation met the standards of the Scheme.
