Workshop for Theatre Club

On Monday, actress Pam Jolley spent a very productive ninety minutes at St. Clare's delivering an excellent detailed and practical workshop on auditioning skills. First and second year Theatre students, together with members of the Theatre Club, were given a revealing insight into the realities of auditioning for both drama school and for professional theatre work, something which students such as Lucrezia Bisignani and Andrea Salerno will find invaluable when they begin applying to drama school later in the year.

Pam Jolley is currently on tour in a production of Ade Morris's Micky Salberg's Crystal Ballroom Dance Band. Previous appearances include Am I Not A Man And A Brother?, Alan Plater's play Blonde Bombshells of 1943 and was lead singer in Riverdance on their 2006 Tour of USA, Canada and Mexico.

Pam is a member of the Reveal Theatre Company. The company offers a wide range of workshops and performances created exclusively for educational establishments. Their workshops complement and extends classroom study, giving students new insights and experiences.
