Domestic Services Supervisor

Principal Duties

  • To act as the main point of contact for the Domestic Services Department.
  • To ensure the availability of labour and material resources to meet the needs of the Domestic Services operation, along with the organisation of resources for additional operations that occur from time to time. This will also include responsibility for the purchasing activities of the Domestic Services department.
  • To manage all labour and material resources ensuring that the Domestic Services Department is run in a cost effective and efficient manner operating to high standards. This will also involve liaison with other departments and ensuring that efficient interdepartmental relationships are developed.
  • To coordinate all costing and monitoring data within the Domestic Services Department ensuring that inventories are maintained, all recharges made and key indicators achieved.
  • To monitor and manage the performance of contracts and contractors in conjunction with the Estates Manager.
  • To monitor all properties on a regular basis, ensuring that any items or procedures affecting the achievement of standards are identified and rectified.
  • To be responsible for the day to day employee welfare and Health and Safety within the Domestic Services Department.
  • To develop and maintain the Domestic Services Department's standards and procedures in conjunction with the Estates Manager.

Terms & Conditions

Salary range £20,315 – £24,234 per annum. Contributory pension, Life Assurance Plan, 22 days holiday plus Christmas break and free meals when working.
