St. Clare's flies high again in education league tables
The education performance league tables published by the DCSF (Department for Children, Schools
and Families) were published by the UK government in January 2010. St. Clare's was very pleased
with its high placing based on the excellent International Baccalaureate examination results from
May 2009.
St. Clare's is third in the table for the 47 schools and colleges in the county of Oxfordshire
narrowly missing out on top spot to two schools which are both highly selective.

In the performance table for the whole of England St. Clare's is placed 75th, which is highly creditable.

While we are pleased with these excellent positions we recognise that league table positions are just
one indicator of the success of a college. If there were tables for features such as student enjoyment
and internationalism we are confident we would be even higher. This success is down to the hard work
of our experienced staff and our cooperative and responsible students.
