Be Prepared for success

Congratulations to David Harris (Head of Mathematicss) on the publication this week of his IB Maths Higher level book. This book is part of the IB Be Prepared series published by the International Baccalaureate Organisation.

David explained that "The format of the book was informed by market research; asking IB students what would help them prepare for exams. For example, using actual student work from past exams, this book provides practical advice on how to approach exam questions, explaining why marks are gained or lost in the student working, and highlighting good exam technique and practice. The entire syllabus and all the options are covered. The detail of each topic is ‘unpacked' into all the facts and skills that the student must know in order to truly Be Prepared for the exam. Tricky points from each topic are illuminated by a worked example with a summary of the most salient points".
