Fantastic results once again

The International Baccalaureate Diploma exam results have been published for the students at St. Clare's. Once again our students have excelled themselves. Three students obtained the magic 45 points: Catherine Macaulay (British), Valeriya Nefyodova (Ukrainian) and Caterina Koch (Portuguese). The mean score was 34.46.

The percentage of students who passed the Diploma was 97.14. The score is out of 100 points.

The distribution of student marks indicate that 15.24% of students achieved 40+ points; 48.57% achieved 35+ points; 82.86% achieved 30+ points and 99.05% achieved 24 points or more; the pass mark is 24 points.

Principal, Paula Holloway, expressed her congratulations to staff and students stating: "We all know that the results are about a lot more than numbers but it is, nonetheless, a great set of results for the College and it means that our students have the luxury of being given a very good education which should allow them to do something useful with their lives once they have left St. Clare's. I have had lots of kind messages from the governors and from our Chair Nicholas Morris. He has asked me to pass on his good wishes and to thank everyone for helping our students achieve yet another set of super results. I can only heartily endorse his message".
