St. Clare's, Oxford - 2, King Edwards School, Witley, Surrey - 4

KES, Witley opened the scoring in the tenth minute but the St. Clare's girls never gave up and were rewarded with an equaliser by Maria Beatriz Coelho. Both teams continued to play some very good football and KES scored their second just before half time.

The St. Clare's girls dominated the start of the second half. Natalia Morgan, Carole Muriithi; Laura Figueiredo Rivas Blanco; Hannah Woodfield; Emma Harvey worked so hard in defence. Elohor Onomakpome, Paula Hepp, Maria Beatriz Coelho, Madeleine de Brouchoven de Bergeyck and Cassandra Weeden tackled and passed well in the midfield.

Malika Badloe and Leonie Jung-Irrgang ran at the KES, Witley defence time and time again. However the girls did tire a little after this period of domination and conceded a third. Maria Beatriz Coelho scored a second and the final 10 minutes was very exciting. KES scored the fourth when our girls failed to clear the ball from a corner kick.
