New Chair of Governors

Nicholas Morris is retiring as Chairman of Governors with effect from December 31st this year. He has been Chairman for four years and, during that time, has seen the College move from strength to strength in terms of its academic standing and its financial position. He has provided strong support and wise counsel as Chairman and been an invaluable friend of St. Clare's and all it stands for.

Nicholas will be succeeded by Richard Dick who also has a long-standing interest in the College having been first appointed a Governor in 2001. He was previously the Chairman of Governors at Abingdon School and some of you might recognise him as Oxfordshire's High Sherriff last year. Richard has brought his extensive knowledge and experience to bear on the development of the College's residential buildings. He has been Chairman of W Lucy and Co since 1990, a company which was founded in 1760, has been in his family for 100 years.

St. Clare's is grateful to Nicholas for his generous and enthusiastic support for St. Clare's and is looking forward to welcoming Richard Dick as our new Chair of Governors.
