St Clare's, Oxford 91 King Alfred's, Wantage 11

This is our first year entering a team in the Oxfordshire School's Girls Basketball League. St. Clare's made a big statement in their first match against King Alfred's School, Wantage scoring 91 points.

Mia Kraus led her team from the front scoring 37 points. Lena Fuldauer and Magdalena Rejmoniak also scored double figures as well. Coach Franky Marulanda was keen to stress that the victory was built on the strength of the collective spirit. The girls worked so hard for each other. Katarina Budin did an excellent job as point guard. Klara Richtarechova was tenacious in defence. Patrycja Prusiecka collected a number of rebounds and Lena Hansen worked well in both defence and offence.
