Another successful Open Day
Many thanks to those who were in involved with the organisation, the preparation and the running of Saturday's IB Open Day. The event was very successful and we were pleased to welcome over 40 visitors who had travelled from as far away as Armenia, Spain, Holland and Penzance in order to attend. Applicants and their parents were able to meet and chat to Paula, Tom and Cormack and were given tours of the college in the fabulous autumn sunshine by current IB students, which included visiting classes and seeing activities taking place. These were followed by presentations about IB courses and life at St. Clare's and a splendid buffet lunch in the College dining room. Open Days are an important part of the process by which IB students are recruited. These events also provide an excellent opportunity for us to raise the profile of the College within the local area.
