Surfing the waves

A group of intrepid students from our adult courses spent a weekend in Newquay, the premier beach for Britain's surfing world. Students were given expert tuition before entering the water for their first attempts. As you can see, it was a huge amount of fun regardless of whether they turned into champion surfers.

Students from our adult English language courses as well as University Foundation Course students and American university students studying here as part of their Gap Year, regularly go on excursions or weekends away, both in the UK and Europe. Apart from good fun it gives our students the opportunity to mix socially and share experiences with students from other countries and cultures.
