Thanksgiving

Each year we celebrate the American holiday of Thanksgiving. Trude and her catering team at our Bardwell Road Senior Courses centre pulled out all the stops to provide not only a wonderful meal but a special setting. Of course, the menu was centred on the traditional turkey dinner.

This year fifty students from all our adult courses attended the social evening and even dressed up for the occasion. Many of the students involved are American university undergraduates taking a study abroad semester or year with us, but this event was also a chance for our students from around the world to experience an unfamiliar but enjoyable celebration.
