St. Clare's 1, King Alfred's Wantage 1

The boys' football team drew 1-1 with King Alfred's, Wantage. Remigiusz Manko scored the equaliser in the 25 minute of the first half.

Chung Yin (Nicolas) Fan had a solid first game in goal. The new look defence featured Federico Pileri and Janez Kosec working with Rezo Makalatiya and Arved Pohlabeln. In midfield Lucca Recinella Jordao de Magalhaes joined Ridi Kotja (Captain); Marco Ferrari and Daniel Galalae. Remigiusz Manko joined Shi Yang Zhang in attack. All four replacements were used, Niklas Rehm; Demian Eimannsberger; Milivoje Sestovic; and Arjaldo Karaj.

The team continue to train on a Monday and Wednesday afternoons. The next match is against D'Overbroecks.
