Oxfordshire Schools Champions 2012
Congratulations to the Under 19 Girls' Basketball team who defeated Cheney School 58 - 27 in the Oxfordshire Schools Final. The proud St. Clare's team were watched by a large crowd of basketball supporters which included the Oxford Mail, some College representatives and students from Cheney School who desperately cheered for their team in the hope of winning the game. St. Clare's took a very early lead, which they maintained and increased over the duration of the game. Mia Kraus, St. Clare's Captain was said to be delighted with the win after her team lost in the finals last year against European School. This year the team will lose most of their players and open the doors to new comers for next season, Mia Kraus, Lena Fuldauer, Lena Hansen, Alessia Passannanti will finish their course by Mid-May. However, they take with them the memory of taking part in St. Clare's historic win of the 2012, School Championship.Top Scorers: |
