Education Business Partnership Day

St. Clare's hosted a very successful Education Business Partnership Day attended by our Pre-IB students and girls from Wychwood School, Oxford.

The day was led by business consultant Lin Baldock and support and guidance was provided by business advisers from Holiday Inn, Leadbitter Construction, Integrated Technology and Expat Knowhow.

The day gave our students and the girls from Wychwood a taste of team work with unfamiliar people. They had several challenges which ended with them planning and costing a hospitality event and preparing beautiful dining tables based on exam desks.

'Because of this day I actually understood all kinds of business and really considered my skills and what I am good at for my future'. This is just one of the comments made by students involved in the very challenging day.

St. Clare's is active in providing practical opportunities such as these for Pre-IB and IB students enabling them to use their wider understanding of the world to inform their subject and career choices.
