Delivery to Honduras of portraits by St. Clare's artists

Portraits painted by St. Clare's Visual Arts students for children in Honduras were delivered to them in the summer.

Alexandra Dreier, Lucy Hansen and Milovije Sestovic signed up to take part in the Memory Project and received photographs of two boys and a girl via an organisation in the USA. Our students used their artistic talents to paint the portraits in oils and acrylics on canvas paper and sent them back to the USA for delivery to Honduras. Below are the photos of the children receiving their portraits.

This link shows some clips of the children receiving their portraits and some general scenes at the orphanage.

I hope you will join me in congratulating and thanking our students for taking part and continuing St. Clare's involvement with this inspiring project. In the past we have sent portraits to Myanmar and Haiti. We hope that more St. Clare's students will get involved with the Memory Project this year.
