We are Oxford's highest scoring sixth form college
Students at St. Clare's have succeeded in gaining another year of top level exam results. This year 109
students took the International Baccalaureate (IB) in May resulting in a 99% pass rate. This has to
be put in the context of the world-wide average pass rate for all schools and colleges which is less
than 80% making the achievements of the students even more significant.

				- One student achieved the perfect score of 45 points, the equivalent of passing 5 A* at A
Level, a result achieved by only 0.02% of students worldwide. He will be studying Economics
				at Cambridge University.

				- Two students achieved 44 points and five students gained 43 points

				- Twenty-four students achieved 40 points or over, the equivalent of 4 x grade A* at A Level

				- The average 2012 student score of 35.1 is equivalent to more than 3 A* grades at A Level
				or 4 grade A's at A Level

Paula Holloway, Principal said, “St. Clare's fosters an educational environment in which young
people choose to work hard. I am extremely happy to see that their hard work has paid off both
for the individual students who need good grades to get into the university of their choice and
for the people who have supported and encouraged the students during their time at St. Clare's.”
