Win against d'Overbroecks College

Our IB boys' football team defeated d'Overbroecks College 5-2 in round four of the Oxfordshire Schools League at our home pitch at Oxford City Football Club.

The team played a new central midfield partnership between Jan Heins and Milivoje Sestovic, a change which resulted in Jan scoring the first goal of the match and Milivoje scoring two more in the 90 minutes. Goals were also scored by Marco Ferrari and Federico Pileri. Two new Pre-IB students have also joined the team; Jose Antonio Caetano Rios and Lucas Goncalves de Gusmao.

The coach said: “It was a day when a number of things that the team have been working on in training fell into place. It is important that we build on this momentum.”

The team will be playing against Magdalen College School on 7 February 2013.
