Oxford charity thanks students

A local charity has thanked our IB students for their continued fundraising support. Cathy Pearl, Schools Fundraiser at Helen and Douglas House, which provides care for children and young adults with life-shortening conditions and their families, visited St. Clare's to say thank you and gave a presentation on how the students' fundraising has helped the organisation.

St. Clare's has been involved in various fundraising activities for Helen and Douglas House over the last five years, a charity which in 1982 it became the world's first children's hospice.

As part of the IB CAS extracurricular programme at St. Clare's, students are encouraged to make a contribution to the local community and support the work of local charities.
