Despite the weather conditions, it's been a busy start to the year for the ball sports activities. Here are the highlights:
- The Boys Basketball team proved too strong for d' Overbroecks College in Round two of the Oxfordshire Schools league. They won 46 – 13. In Round three the team met the current national champions Cherwell School. The match provided a number of highlights with Cherwell winning on a 56 – 48 score line.
The team includes, Adrien Chichereau, Francisco Parente, Jules Kleitman (Captain), Lukas Bernotas, Patrik Szivos Tinnabhand Patana-Anake, Vitas Janukonis and Yu Zhang Desmond Fei.
- The Girls Basketball team are in the process of appointing a new Coach and there will be more details to follow. The team includes, Nicole Kitchen, (Captain) Camille Brodeur, Madison Hall, Magda Zielinska, Mirabel Anosike, Lucy Farha, Zuzanna Dembinska and Justyna Zielinska.
- The Boys Football team lost 3 – 2 in their third league match against Oxford and Cherwell Valley College. The team have fixtures against Woodgreen School, Witney, Magdalen College School and King Alfred's, Wantage to play.
The team includes; Daniele Schmidt-Fischer, Alexandre Florian Sofian Caron, Julien Francois Mehdi Caron, Louis Cigrang, William Grey, Ali Naif Dzhaber, Keidi Kapllani, Tim Trautmann, Dean Celaj, Herman Wennevold, Vladislav Romanov, Owen Perlo, Daniel Ergun, Roman Chaika and Mykola-Mykhaylo Rohutskyy.
- The Girls Football team were defeated by Malvern College in Round one of the ISFA Midlands league. The team have fixtures against Uppingham School and Wellingborough School to play in February and March.
The team included; Aila Rothweiler, Alexandra Kira Doll , Carla Dupont (Captain), Cassia Patricia Mesquita Do Carmo, Elizabeth Cass, Karin Pastikova, Katherine Ferretti Luzi, Margherita Busca, Paula Urruticoechea, Julie Nothomb, Diana Pop, Clara Butler and Anna Llewellyn.
