Two St. Clare's students represented the College at the 2013
Independent Schools Football Association (ISFA) U18 Girls
Regional Representative Tournament. Despite the bad weather and the fact that the players had
never played together before, the team which included St. Clare's students
Abigail and Carla "performed with credit".
The opening fixture saw their defeat. However, in the second
fixture against evenutal champions Scotland, the team secured a highly
creditable 1-1 draw and came close to winning the match at one point.
Te ISFA runs national competitions and runs representative
teams aimed at giving boys and girls the opportunity to play at the highest
possible level.
