Last weekend, a group of our IB students enjoyed a coarse fishing trip in Oxfordshire. They visited Milton Pools Fishery and Field Farm fishery, where they were able to develop the basic skills in pole fishing for coarse fish. This includes learning how to put bait on hooks, how to observe bites, how to land and unhook fish and how to return them safely to the water.
The group were also awarded Creativity CAS points as part of their IB Diploma programme for their attendance and all of them thoroughly enjoyed the trip.
