A huge congratulations to IB1 student Eliza Cass who has beaten hundreds of other young aspiring actors in national auditions for a coveted place in the National Youth Theatre. This is an incredible accomplishment and Eliza is joining a prestigious theatrical institution that has given us some truly great actors including Dame Helen Mirren, Daniel Day-Lewis, Sir Derek Jacobi and Orlando Bloom.
Eliza's series of comic cameos in the IB2 play "How to Succeed in the IB" last December, her masterful and mature performance in the role of Helena in our recent production of A Midsummer Night's Dream as well as her winning vocal performance in last month's St. Clare's Talent Show, are all testament to the fact that she is an accomplished performer. We wish her the very best of luck at the National Youth Theatre.
