The Government’s official Performance Tables were released last Thursday and St. Clare's results were excellent:
- St. Clare’s, Oxford has the best sixth form results in Oxfordshire for the 4th year in a row.
- The average points per student increased by 50 points - 150 points ahead of our nearest rival.
Amongst all secondary schools in England, we are ranked 8th - this includes both state and independent schools.
- Last year we were ranked 15th so this is a considerable move upwards.
- We are the only school or college from Oxford which is ranked as a top ten school or college in England, in terms of its sixth form examination results.
Paula Holloway, College Principal, expressed her delight with the results and congratulated students and teachers on their extraordinary achievement.
