The students were participating in the Memory Project which is a unique initiative in which art students create portraits for children and teens around the world who have been neglected, orphaned or disadvantaged. Developed in 2004, the project has created nearly 50,000 portraits for kids in 34 different countries and St. Clare's were delighted to be a part of this.

The children were thrilled to receive their portraits from the St. Clare's Visual Arts students. The paintings were created during the celebration of Nepali New Year and were very special gifts for the children to receive during that major holiday.
