Finn is one of just two students worldwide who has been successful in achieving the University of British Columbia's International Leader of Tomorrow Award (ILOT). UBC, ranked 2nd among major Canadian research universities by Maclean's Magazine in 2013 and ranked 30th worldwide,​ recognizes international students who demonstrate superior academic achievement, leadership skills, involvement in student affairs and community service and recognized achievement in fields of endeavour. The ILOT required transcripts, references from staff and evidence of his achievements to support his application. He will receive significant financial aid to studyat UBC. Congratulations Finn!
