Links with Almaty

We are proud to announce that St. Clare's, Oxford has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the top university in Almaty, the Kazakh-British Technical University (KBTU). The two institutions will work together on a number of projects, including teaching visits to KBTU from members of the team at St. Clare's and study visits to St. Clare's by undergraduates from KBTU on short Academic and Business English Courses accredited by the home university.

Lawrie Coupland, Director of English Language Courses at St. Clare's, said: “The warm welcome I received on my recent visit to Almaty augurs really well for our collaboration over the coming months. It's a very exciting development for the college.”

The excellent quality of our English language courses, and the considerable reputation the College has established over the past 50 years, has often resulted in highly regarded links with academic institutions worldwide.
