Boys' Basketball match report by Coach Franky Marulanda

On paper this looked like a simple game, St Clare's played D'Overbroecks during a pre-season friendly and took an easy victory.

However I was concerned that this term that we struggled to manage a single training session where all players were present. We had eight players for the games, Amir Amangeldi; (Captain), Emilis Romaskevicius; Thomas Cox; Jules Maurice Marcel Kleitman; Christopher Bray; Tinnabhand Patana-Anake; Vitas Janukonis and Lorenzo d'Andria.

St. Clare's tried hard and gave it their all as they tried to stop D'Overbroecks main scorer, but to no avail. The boys had plenty of opportunities to score, but unfortunately the team kept missing even with the tactical changes on the court.

Emilis did score 10 points in the first half, but was fouled out early. Vitas (12 pts), Amir (8 pts) and Jules (2 pts) tried to pick up the slack, but it was just not enough. Tinnabhand had more rebounds than any other player, but he did not manage to score. Chris, Tom and Lorenzo chased and helped defensively.
