St. Clare's annual Education Business Partnership Day

We welcomed a variety of local businesses to St. Clare's for our annual Education Business Partnership Day, an event aimed at giving our Pre-IB students a glimpse into the world of work.

Along with students from the nearby Wychwood School, they took part in group business exercises and discussions about the skills and ideas behind a successful working life.

Businesses involved in the event included Holiday Inn, Integration Technology, Leadbitter and Expatknowhow.

Liz Reece, Careers and Higher Education Adviser at St. Clare's, said: "This is an excellent way of students learning about the world of work through team activities. By joining schools, students have to get to know each other quickly to work out their team's strengths before undertaking practical tasks similar to those found in different work places. We are very grateful to all those who give up their time to support the students with their knowledge and expertise."
