Carnival mask-making

The college theme at our International College of Further Education this month is Differences and Similarities, and this week our students turned their attention to World Festivals and Traditions. In a burst of creativity, they made and designed their own colourful carnival masks, with the help from St. Clare's art teacher Francesca Shakespeare.

These common college themes encourage learners to share experiences across cultures and across courses. Special events, such as the carnival mask-making, allow everyone to join in - whatever their background or level of English.
