In some schools students learn science in classrooms but not laboratories. At St Clare's we feel is it important to get practical experience of working with real equipment, being challenged to work on actual experiments and to try out different ways of approaching a problem.
St Clare's has a new science building containing science laboratories, preparation rooms and classrooms. Students can take a 10 day practical science course each summer at St Clare's and see what it is like to do real science.
