Congratulations to our IB World School 2024 Graduates on their IB Diploma results, having secured a 100% pass rate and some outstanding achievements across all subject areas.

An average overall points score of 35 continues our record of being well above the world average of 30 points, with 83% of students scoring above this. Two students achieved a very impressive 44 points and one student achieved 43 points, which is the equivalent to A*A*A* at A Level, whilst over a quarter of students scored 38 points or over, which is the equivalent of AAA at A Level.

Here are some highlights:

There are of course many individual success stories behind these numbers and once again our students have grown and learned a huge amount in their relatively short time with us, as shown through our consistently high progress value-added scores. We are proud of all students, the skills and attributes they have developed over the last two years, and the valuable contribution they have made to our international community. The IB has given our students  the best possible preparation for future success and we are confident that they will play their part in fulfilling the IB mission to “help to create a better and more peaceful world.”

Global success

While some students will pursue projects and travel on a gap year, around 80% will enrol at a hugely diverse set of universities and higher education institutions around the world, including the World Bachelor of Business at the University of Southern California, Pomona College, Purdue University School of Engineering, Boston University, and Berklee School of Music in the USA; McGill University and the University of Toronto in Canada; London School of Economics, University College London, Imperial College London, the Liverpool Institute for the Performing Arts and the University of Durham in the UK; a wide range of continental European universities and business schools including the Politecnico di Milano, Bocconi, Esade, RWTH Aachen, Utrecht and IE. Further afield students will be heading to South Korea (Yonsei University) and the University of Melbourne.

The International Baccalaureate prepares students to study any undergraduate discipline and our students will pursue their studies in humanities and social sciences, STEM subjects, the liberal arts, veterinary medicine, dentistry, the performing arts and architecture.
