St Clare’s, Oxford is proud to celebrate the exceptional achievements of its International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma students in the 2025 results. The school has once again demonstrated its academic strength and global excellence with a 100% pass rate and remarkable individual performances across all subject areas.
Students achieved an average score of 35 points, significantly above the global average of 30, with 93% of students surpassing this benchmark. A remarkable 21 students scored 40 points or more (equivalent to A*AA at A Level), and 3 students achieved an outstanding 43 out of a possible 45 points, placing them among the top-performing IB students worldwide. Almost half of the cohort secured 36 points or higher, broadly equivalent to AAA at A Level.
Our highlights:

These results are particularly impressive considering that St Clare’s is a semi-selective school. We take into account the contributions of students to the broader school community, rather than focusing exclusively on their academic achievements. Importantly, the entire cohort participates in the full IB Diploma program, rather than just a handpicked group of the highest academic achievers. Achieving such high averages and a 100% pass rate across the whole cohort reflects not only the strength of our teaching and support systems, but also the commitment, ambition, and resilience of our students.
