An ideal opportunity to mix with other experienced IB professionals |
|
Building upon the success of previous years, the programme
has now been expanded to provide workshops in a wider range of subjects.
Workshop Aims
Each subject workshop aims to provide guidance in and discussion of:
• syllabus interpretation
• assessment criteria
• teaching and learning methodology
• latest teaching resources
Workshop features
For the academic component of the courses, work will be organised by subject
specialism.
• small, informal groups
• IBO approved leaders
• a TOK session for each subject
• keynote speakers
Experience required
The teachers taking part in these workshops must have either attended
at least one IBO workshop, or should have had at least two years' experience
teaching the subject as part of the Diploma programme. All applications
must be supported by the teacher's IB coordinator.
Special requests
St. Clare's is keen to ensure that teachers gain maximum benefit from
the workshops. To allow leaders to tailor their courses to their needs,
teachers are asked to use an online form to submit their special requests.
